The Challenge

Establishment of new entrance and foyer in connection with the development of the property which has previously been a combination of office and workshop.
The property has previously functioned as a domicile for SAS Scandinavian Airlines, focusing on the workshop’s work.

The property is intended to be transformed into a modern multi-user building where new as well as existing occupiers will find it attractive to “live”.
The challenge of the project was to rethink the entire flow of the property along with creating attractive dispositions for potential occupiers.
Additionally, several leases had already been signed before the start-up of the development project which required special consideration through the planning and execution of the project.

Solution & Outcome

Establishment of a new, great vestibule which leads the occupier and guests to the new staffed reception of the property.
From here, the new foyer leads through the property which creates a long space that at the end opens to a greater area, centered around a little café. From this space, access is created to the old workshops which are converted into offices. To create as much liveliness as possible down through the foyer, the existing cafeteria is moved from the third floor down to the ground floor, directly connected to the new foyer.
The result is an exciting and inspiring space which is used by both occupiers and guests.

Additionally, it creates a very sensible starting point for the development of the rest of the property.
